Felix hummed softly to herself as she packed away the last of her newly aquired supplies into her medical bag. It had taken some doing, but with a bit of elbow grease and some good old fashioned work she managed to get everything she needed to last until they all got back home.

The black mink looked up at a sound behind her, a smile crossing her muzzle as Theophan came into view. The blonde mink was a bit shorter than Felix, dressed in rather conservative set of coveralls she was partial to. A striking contrast to the garish clothing Felix favored, feeling a body should be something to be proud of and show off to the world. She gave a mental shrug, as it was an old argument between the sisters, a point they argued about in friendly fashion when there was little else to do.

"Heya sis. What's up?" purred Felix, closing her medical bag and setting it to the side, settling to the apartments only bed.

Theo sauntered over and gave Felix a hug, settling down on the bed next to her, "Not much. I got us the parts we needed to keep the van running. Once we get home, I'll have to machine some parts though." she sighed softly and leaned against Felix's side, "Things are starting to get tight. Unless we can find a new source for parts and ammo, we'll go broke trying to meet the dealers prices."

Felix slid her arm around Theophan, giving her a gentle hug before turning to face her sister, "Things will work out hon, I'm sure of it. The run back home should give us enough to get the van fixed up and stocked."

Theo nodded slightly as she peered around the black mink at the recently closed bag, "So, I take it you found what you wanted? I hope you didn't spend too much. We might still need it before long."

Felix shook her head slightly, picking the satchel up and putting it in her lap, "Nope. You'll be happy to know that I didn't use any of the group money to get my supplies."

Theo sat up straighter at that, looking Felix over. "You didn't..." she said softly, her voice taking on a definite distasteful sound.

Felix chuckled as she saw the thoughts crossing her sisters mind, "No, I didn't. I worked the old fashioned way, and dug up most of what I needed outside the city. The rest I bartered for with some of the extra stuff I collected." She gave her sister a playful push against her shoulder, "I told you I wouldn't prostitute again and I mean to keep my promise."

A wave of relief swept over Theo, showing on her face as she hugged Felix, "Good. I know you think I'm a prude, but selling yourself like that just isn't worth it."

Felix hugged tightly in return, and decided to keep her little interlude to herself. She couldn't be blamed if she had a weak will when it came to handsome men. And she didn't sell herself for it, only used her wiles to gain a few extra bits she wanted for her collection. The rest was just pure pleasure.

There followed a bit of playful tickling and teasing to release the tension of the moment when a knock at the door interrupted the fun.

The door creaked open before either of the minks had a chance to get up, a pink nose appearing though the opening, followed by a black muzzle with white fur underlining her chin that belong to Shenjii.

Both Felix and Theophan smiled and called out greetings to her, "Hi guys. Just thought I'd check in with you and see if you were ready to head out. The caravan boss says they'll be ready to go within an hour or two."

Felix was up off the bed in a flash, pulling the third mink of the group into the room, giving her a tight hug before setting the young one down on the bed in-between Theo and her.

"Good to hear," Theo said, giving Shenjii a gentle snug as she settled down, "I think we're all getting antsy to get back home. And I'm sure you're dying to see your home, right?"

Shenjii gave an enthusiastic nod and pulled both close in a group hug, "Defiantly! It's been so long since I slept in place with all the walls and roof intact. It'll be great!"

Although she sounded happy, dark thoughts creeped across her mind from her life previous to meeting the two minks that had most likely saved her life. She gave herself a mental shake and goosed both of them with a laugh.

"I can't wait! It's so good to be out of that van now, that I can't imagine what it will be like in a place I can call home."

They all collapsed onto the bed in another fit of tickling and giggling, the stress of the last two weeks soon forgotten as they roughhoused in the apartment, the return trip pushed to the back of their minds for the moment.
